This Issue: Last Co-op Connection By Mail
by Robyn Seydel
We have received numerous responses to our call for member input on the Co-op Connection's direct mail policy.
Thanks to all members who e-mailed, wrote (see some of these letters on this page) or called, taking the time to share their thoughts on this issue.
So far, most members say that they would be happy to get the Connection electronically or pick it up at either of our Co-op locations or at the over 70 area businesses.
A few members for whom this poses a hardship have asked that we continue to send them their Connection.
This we will gladly do. With the growth in our membership and the ever-rising cost of postage (another postal increase is expected this month), this change will be a great savings for our Co-op.
The nearly $24,000 we will save will be put to good use for other Co-op services, to pay off our debts on the new location, or put toward future patronage refunds.
This issue of the Co-op Connection, (January 2001), will be the last issue you will receive by mail.
If this poses a hardship for you, please fill out the form below and we will continue to mail your Connection.
Please pick up your Connection at either Co-op location.
Subscribe to it electronically or get it at any area location listed on this page.
Members for whom this poses a hardship because they live out of town and come to the Co-op infrequently, are homebound for any reason, do not have computer access for an electronic copy, or for any other reason need their Connection mailed to them, may fill out the form below and mail it to:
Co-op Connection,
c/o La Montanita Co-op, 3500 Central Ave. S.E.
Albuquerque, New Mexico 87106.
We will be happy to see that you continue to receive your Co-op Connection in the mail every month. We recognize that many of you value the Connection, viewing it as an important member benefit.
We will do everything we can to ensure that you continue to receive your Connection.
