Suffer from Spring Allergies?

If you suffer from spring allergies and want to reduce your symptoms, now is the time to start. Don't wait until the pollen is flying. Nettles is one herb that can help.

Put together a tea with one part each of Dandelion and Burdock (to clear liver congestion and improve detoxification) and two parts Nettles, with Peppermint to taste.

Mix all the dry herbs together and pour one quart of water over two to three heaping tablespoons of herbs.

Put in a closed glass or ceramic container (not aluminum or plastic) — a glass jar will do — and let steep for at least one hour before drinking. Continue soaking herbs all day, pouring off two to three cups and drinking throughout the day.

Start now, drinking this tea throughout the spring pollen season. I, for one, found great relief last year after doing this.

Or, if you prefer, now is the time to begin utilizing local bee pollen.

Start with one or two tiny grains. Each week, double the amount you take daily until you have reached 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon or more.

People often feel great relief. It is important to start this now and not when your allergies hit.

Often the bee pollen can make an allergy attack worse or bring one on when taken during allergy season.
