From the beginning the Co-op has relied on the vision, involvement, and support of its members for its success. Membership is ownership. Involvement by our members ensures that the Co-op remains a strong, responsible organization. In return, members receive the following benefits:

Member Discounts

A weekly sales flyer offers members-only discounts of up to 40% on selected items. The monthly Co-op Advantage Program brings you the best prices on your favorite products. The CAPS program unites 85 co-ops in 28 states to bring competitive pricing in our community.

Member Refund Program

At the end of each fiscal year, if earnings are sufficient, patronage dividends are refunded to members in amounts based on their individual or household purchases. Patronage refund checks are sent out just in time for the holidays!

Monthly Newsletter & Co-op Connection

Receive Our Monthly Newsletter, Co-op Connection, full of information, including Co-op activities, to help you stay your healthiest and most aware. Please ask the staff at the Information Desk about joining the mailing list.

Members-Only Discount Days

Take advantage of our special members-only discount events. Members get discounts on everything in the store up to 20% off, based on the total amount of purchase.

Membership at New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union

NMEFCU offers a wide range of low-cost and no cost financial services with 11 locations in Albuquerque to serve you.

Free Delivery

Available for seniors, house-bound and differently-abled people within Albuquerque city limits. A program is also in the works for Santa Fe. Call for details.

Membership Participation Program

Members can participate in the Co-op through our community outreach committees or through our skilled member participation program and earn an 18% discount on a shopping trip at the Co-op for each hour of participation. Volunteer in your community and be rewarded with a reduced bill for your groceries at the Co-op. Please ask the staff at the Information Desk for more details.

General Membership Meetings, Board Positions & Voting

Help guide your Co-op into the future by participating in the meetings. You may vote in elections right away. You may also take a more active role in your Co-op and run for the Board of Directors in the November elections if you have been a member for at least 4 months.

Easy Check Writing

Cash ($40) over purchase amount. We accept ATMs, VISA, Discover and MasterCard.

Special Orders

You can special order large quantities, hard-to-find items, and items we don't carry. Information Desk personnel will direct you to the appropriate department for assistance.
