GED ADVOCATES is currently in need of volunteer GED and Adult Basic Education tutors to work individually with our students.

We are a 10-month-old pilot program sponsored by Ser de New Mexico, a nonprofit organization here in Albuquerque.

We offer free tutoring to all members of the community, 17 years of age or older.

We also assist our students in overcoming personal obstacles that are preventing them from furthering their education.

We currently have tutoring sites at West Mesa and Dennis Chavez Community Centers. Tutor training is provided
